EDULINKS is a wiki for collecting promising educational web tools, particularly those being used successfully by teachers in the field. Our goal is a selective, not a comprehensive, list.
Best Practices
Maintain student confidentiality online.
Avoid posting student names, especially last names.
Avoid posting student photos unless they're group shots with individiauls not easily identified.
NEVER post names and photos in combination.
Use web services that allow students to:
work in a private, secure area
create secure accounts that are identifiable by you
Internet Explorer 7 isn't the best browser out there. Use the browser that's leading the industry: Firefox. It's free!
